Welcome to 2013!!!
Wow! There are 4 new drama series coming up this January. Now whether they are all worth our time is still too early to tell. The synopses of all the dramas are not really enough to say whether a drama is good or not. Just like those indie films. The description makes it sound like the movie is boring but when you actually watch the film, it’s actually really interesting! So anyways, I made a list of the series that I know are coming up, so far this January. I’m crossing my fingers on some of them, to be honest with you.
A Hundred Years Inheritance
· This will be aired Saturdays and Sundays starting January 5 by MBC and will take the place of May Queen
· Genre: Romance, Family
· Main Cast Lee Jung Jin as Lee Se Yoon
Eugene as Min Chae Won
Choi Won Young as Joo Yeon
Shin Goo
Kim Soo Mi
Han Go Eun as Uhm Ki Ok
· This is a story of a family that runs a noodle house for three generations and Eugene’s character is one of the granddaughters who came back after the divorce.
· I have seen the preview and it looks to me that this has both comedy and drama to it specially the part when Eugene, while in hospital gown randomly asks help from a stranger and at some point in the preview called the guy “yobo” and Lee Se Yeon (Lee Jung Jin) was shocked. I just hope that once again it’s more comedy than heavy drama. I noticed that even in what is supposed to be a comedy, drama series that the drama part tend to take over the whole show which kills the comedic errors of the characters. Although, I enjoyed a lot of them regardless but for January, I am just hoping for something light. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Eugene in a drama and she was always good before so this should be good, right?
